Is Traditional Finishing Dead?


I had to do something recently that I haven’t done in a long time: I had to match an old finish. I was in the middle of repairing an old bookcase I made for my mother-in-law about 22 years ago (I believe it was my third real project), and one of the repairs involved reinstalling the shiplap back.
